“Visibility is no longer about dots on the map and I would argue it never was.”

Advanced visibility requires high-quality data to meet on-demand customer expectations, lower costs while increasing productivity, reduce driver dwell time and dock congestion, improve inventory management, and satisfy tight delivery requirements. Those are the areas we kept at the forefront while working on recent additions to our Truckload solutions, which we are launching today.

Providing our customers with deep insights at the speed of thought,” and delivering a solid foundation for advanced, predictive analytics, these new capabilities redefine what’s possible with Truckload tracking and visibility.

Our new Truckload visibility capabilities:

  • Deliver real-time and accurate tracking - we retrieve location updates from carriers via ELD, telematics, app-less tracking, or smartphone applications, then enrich the data and apply predictive analytics to deliver accurate Truckload arrival, pickup, location, ETA, and delivery information.
  • Enable dynamic, predictive delivery times - ETAs are available pre-pickup through to delivery, dynamically change with every data point and are responsive to real-time conditions, including traffic patterns, weather, and road conditions. Road constraints (i.e. maximum height or weight of a vehicle) will also be considered in order to predict the most likely driver route. Finally, driver hours of service will be factored in to predict driver idle time, and further refine the accuracy of the ETA.
  • Allow for personalized notifications and more meaningful collaboration - Configurable, rule-based email, SMS, API updates, or push notifications ensure that internal and external teams are empowered with the latest shipment information improving organization-wide decision making and collaboration. A multi-tiered, time-based (geofenced) threshold can be applied to trigger events allowing for more flexible altering.
  • Reduce cold chain risk with live temperature control - Track temperature in real-time across cold chains via connections to a wide variety of IoT sources, allowing users to receive alerts as soon as exceptions occur to ensure freshness and avoid loss.

Ensuring that this solution is easy for customers to start using was also a high priority, We have built our advanced visibility platform that delivers complete transparency into real-time locations and predictive delivery estimates of Full Truckload shipments, regardless of truck type,” says Chief Strategy Officer Mike Reed. Our modular and easy-to-implement model ensures that all project44 customers are quickly set up for success now, and in the future.”

Delivering accurate and predictive shipment tracking across all modes and multiple geographies, as well as ensure that our data is high-quality, means continually progressing our solutions to meet the needs of our customers. We set out to do exactly that with our new Truckload tracking improvements.
