{"id":73301,"date":"2025-09-23T15:26:50","date_gmt":"2025-09-23T20:26:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.project44.com\/supply-chain-insights\/recuperation-du-canal-de-panama\/"},"modified":"2025-10-07T18:55:20","modified_gmt":"2025-10-07T23:55:20","slug":"recuperation-du-canal-de-panama","status":"publish","type":"market-news","link":"https:\/\/www.project44.com\/fr\/supply-chain-insights\/recuperation-du-canal-de-panama\/","title":{"rendered":"R\u00e9cup\u00e9ration du canal de Panama"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-summary\">R\u00e9sum\u00e9\u00a0:<\/h2>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Le trafic des porte-conteneurs dans le canal de Panama d\u00e9passe les chiffres d\u2019avant la s\u00e9cheresse malgr\u00e9 des ralentissements mondiaux plus larges du Fret, entra\u00een\u00e9s en partie par le reroutage de la mer Rouge.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Le temps d\u2019amarrage \u00e0 Puerto Colon a diminu\u00e9 de 47\u00a0%, passant d\u2019un maximum de 23,5\u00a0heures en juillet 2024 \u00e0 seulement 10,6\u00a0heures en ao\u00fbt 2025, ce qui refl\u00e8te une reprise op\u00e9rationnelle importante.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Les temps de transit moyens par le canal sont rest\u00e9s stables dans une fourchette \u00e9troite de 45\u00a0minutes au cours des derniers mois, m\u00eame si les volumes portuaires ont augment\u00e9.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-overview\">Aper\u00e7u<\/h2>\n\n<p>\u00c0 la fin de 2023, l\u2019Autorit\u00e9 du canal de Panama a r\u00e9duit la capacit\u00e9 quotidienne des navires en raison d\u2019une s\u00e9cheresse extr\u00eame qui a consid\u00e9rablement abaiss\u00e9 les niveaux d\u2019eau dans le lac Gatun, la principale source d\u2019eau douce utilis\u00e9e pour faire fonctionner les \u00e9cluses du canal. Les transits quotidiens sont pass\u00e9s de 36 \u00e0 38\u00a0navires en juillet 2023 \u00e0 seulement 18 par jour en f\u00e9vrier 2024. Ces restrictions ont persist\u00e9 jusqu\u2019en 2024, la pleine capacit\u00e9 op\u00e9rationnelle n\u2019ayant \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9tablie qu\u2019en ao\u00fbt 2024.<\/p>\n\n<p>Pendant plus d\u2019un an, l\u2019un des points d\u2019\u00e9tranglement maritimes les plus critiques au monde a \u00e9t\u00e9 confront\u00e9 \u00e0 un d\u00e9bit s\u00e9v\u00e8rement limit\u00e9, ce qui a entra\u00een\u00e9 des retards d\u2019accostage \u00e9lev\u00e9s et une volatilit\u00e9 du Temps de transit.<\/p>\n\n<p>Maintenant, le canal de Panama fonctionne \u00e0 nouveau \u00e0 pleine capacit\u00e9 et les volumes de navires augmentent. Ce rebond est en partie d\u00fb au fait que les exp\u00e9diteurs \u00e9vitent la mer Rouge en raison de tensions g\u00e9opolitiques, ce qui les a conduits \u00e0 rechercher des itin\u00e9raires alternatifs, tels que l\u2019itin\u00e9raire plus long autour du cap de Bonne-Esp\u00e9rance. Le canal fonctionne bien et des projets d\u2019infrastructure \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle sont en cours pour pr\u00e9venir de futures perturbations li\u00e9es \u00e0 la s\u00e9cheresse.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-vessel-traffic-through-the-canal\">Trafic des navires \u00e0 travers le canal<\/h2>\n\n<p>Les restrictions de s\u00e9cheresse ont affect\u00e9 tous les types de navires, mais les porte-conteneurs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 les plus touch\u00e9s. Le graphique ci-dessous montre le nombre mensuel de navires par type de navire de janvier 2023 \u00e0 ao\u00fbt 2025.<strong> <\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"946\" height=\"820\" src=\"https:\/\/www.project44.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-72678\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.project44.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image.png 946w, https:\/\/www.project44.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-300x260.png 300w, https:\/\/www.project44.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-768x666.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 946px) 100vw, 946px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p>Pendant les conditions de pic de s\u00e9cheresse, moins de 250\u00a0navires porte-conteneurs ont pu transiter par le canal par mois, une forte baisse par rapport aux niveaux de 300 \u00e0 330\u00a0navires avant la s\u00e9cheresse. Cette baisse est due \u00e0 la plus grande n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d\u2019eau douce pour accueillir les porte-conteneurs, qui sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement plus grands et plus lourds. Leur tirant d&rsquo;eau exige des niveaux d\u2019eau plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s pour \u00e9viter l\u2019\u00e9chouage dans le canal peu profond.<\/p>\n\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 un refroidissement plus important des volumes de fret maritime mondial, le trafic de conteneurs par le canal de Panama a fortement rebondi depuis la mi-2024. Cela sugg\u00e8re une forte demande r\u00e9gionale et une comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9 renouvel\u00e9e du canal, partiellement aliment\u00e9e par l\u2019\u00e9vitement de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.project44.com\/zh-hans\/supply-chain-insights\/the-red-sea-crisis-ceasefire-collapse-leaves-red-sea-in-tumultuous-state\/\">mer Rouge et du canal de Suez en raison des attaques de navires des Houthis dans la r\u00e9gion<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"795\" src=\"https:\/\/www.project44.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-1-1024x795.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-72684\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.project44.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-1-1024x795.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.project44.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-1-300x233.png 300w, https:\/\/www.project44.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-1-768x596.png 768w, https:\/\/www.project44.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-1.png 1050w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p>Le graphique des temps d\u2019amarrage met en \u00e9vidence les pressions op\u00e9rationnelles auxquelles sont confront\u00e9s les ports adjacents au canal de Panama, en particulier pendant et maintenant que les volumes augmentent dans le canal. Parmi les deux terminaux principaux, Puerto Colon, situ\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019entr\u00e9e nord (Atlantique) du canal, a connu les perturbations les plus importantes. Au plus fort de la s\u00e9cheresse en 2024, les temps d\u2019accostage m\u00e9dians \u00e0 Puerto Colon ont augment\u00e9, atteignant un maximum de plus de 23,5\u00a0heures en juillet. Bien que les conditions se soient temporairement am\u00e9lior\u00e9es, les retards ont de nouveau augment\u00e9 en mars 2025, atteignant un peu plus de 22\u00a0heures. De mani\u00e8re encourageante, en ao\u00fbt 2025, le port a connu une am\u00e9lioration substantielle, le temps d\u2019accostage m\u00e9dian \u00e9tant tomb\u00e9 \u00e0 seulement 10,6\u00a0heures, une r\u00e9duction de 47\u00a0% par rapport au sommet de juillet, ce qui signale une forte reprise de l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 op\u00e9rationnelle.<\/p>\n\n<p>La ville de Panama (Balboa), situ\u00e9e du c\u00f4t\u00e9 sud (Pacifique) du canal, a maintenu des temps d\u2019accostage relativement plus stables tout au long de la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode. Cependant, ce port n\u2019a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019abri des r\u00e9centes fluctuations. Entre juin et juillet 2025, le temps m\u00e9dian d\u2019accostage a fortement bondi, passant d\u2019environ 11\u00a0heures \u00e0 plus de 15\u00a0heures, ce qui marque une augmentation de 34\u00a0%. Bien qu\u2019ao\u00fbt ait montr\u00e9 des signes pr\u00e9coces de r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration, le temps d\u2019amarrage est rest\u00e9 \u00e9lev\u00e9 \u00e0 environ 13,9\u00a0heures.<\/p>\n\n<p>Ces mod\u00e8les indiquent que, bien que les deux ports soient confront\u00e9s \u00e0 des d\u00e9fis li\u00e9s \u00e0 la r\u00e9surgence du trafic des navires, les op\u00e9rations se sont notablement am\u00e9lior\u00e9es depuis le pic de la s\u00e9cheresse. Malgr\u00e9 les r\u00e9cents pics, les temps d\u2019accostage dans les deux terminaux sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement plus sains et plus coh\u00e9rents que ceux observ\u00e9s pendant les p\u00e9riodes les plus restrictives en 2024.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"731\" src=\"https:\/\/www.project44.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-2-1024x731.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-72690\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.project44.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-2-1024x731.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.project44.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-2-300x214.png 300w, https:\/\/www.project44.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-2-768x549.png 768w, https:\/\/www.project44.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-2.png 1050w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p>Bien que les temps d\u2019accostage restent un point de pression, les temps de transit par le canal lui-m\u00eame sont rest\u00e9s relativement stables. Comme le montre le troisi\u00e8me graphique, le temps de transit moyen n\u2019a fluctu\u00e9 que de 45\u00a0minutes environ au cours des derniers mois, ce qui maintient une fourchette d\u2019environ 11,0 \u00e0 11,6\u00a0heures.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-conclusion\">R\u00e9sultat<\/h2>\n\n<p>Le canal de Panama est pass\u00e9 de graves restrictions dues \u00e0 la s\u00e9cheresse en 2023 et au d\u00e9but de 2024 \u00e0 un r\u00e9tablissement op\u00e9rationnel complet \u00e0 la mi-2025. Bien que les temps de transit par le canal soient rest\u00e9s stables, les temps d\u2019accostage \u00e0 Puerto Colon et \u00e0 Panama ont fluctu\u00e9, ce qui refl\u00e8te la pression de l\u2019augmentation des volumes de navires. Malgr\u00e9 ces d\u00e9fis, les conditions se sont consid\u00e9rablement am\u00e9lior\u00e9es et les mises \u00e0 niveau en cours des infrastructures sugg\u00e8rent un avenir plus r\u00e9silient et
