project44’s Intelligent TMS is a Leader on G2’s Fall 2026 Enterprise Grid® Report for Transportation Management Systems. iTMS placed as a Leader in a total of seven TMS reports, including the Enterprise, Mid-Market, and Momentum Grids. Fall 2026 marks iTMS’ first appearance in the G2 TMS Grid.

The G2 Grid places participants based on their customer satisfaction and market presence. Its Satisfaction score comes from verified customer reviews, and its Market Presence score from measurable external markers like employee count. Leaders on the G2 Grid not only solve a customer need but possess the industry knowledge and resources needed to make an impact at scale.
A Leader for Enterprise and Mid-market alike
G2 breaks its Grid reports out by company size. G2 defines an Enterprise company as one with 1,001 or more employees. Mid-Market companies have 51 to 1,000 employees. Intelligent TMS was named a Leader in both categories.
Built for modern transportation management
Intelligent TMS customers rated project44 well because we solved a problem the industry couldn’t ignore: transportation teams were making freight decisions based on incomplete data. Teams lacked defensible, real-time ETAs and a view of how carriers performed across the market.
Traditional TMS built on outdated architecture didn’t solve this either, and came with their own set of problems. Users were left with mode and coverage gaps, and no way to pivot quickly when sourcing strategies shifted.
project44’s Intelligent TMS is AI-native from the ground up, because project44 is the only company with the market-wide performance data to close the gap between visibility and execution. It’s built on the world’s largest, most accurate, real-time logistics data graph, and unifies disconnected systems into a single orchestrated platform. This enables customers to reduce costs, optimize operations, and transform their logistics operations from a cost center to a revenue generator.
“What I like best about project44 is that it goes beyond simple shipment tracking and focuses on helping companies make proactive decisions. The company combines real-time logistics with AI-driven insights, predictive ETAs, and disruption management to help customers anticipate problems before they impact operations.” Sunny J., Business Associate, Enterprise company
Awarded G2 badges 15 years in a row
Grid placement tells only part of the story. In the Fall 2026 cycle, project44 earned 11 G2 badges. That win extends a streak that now spans fifteen consecutive years of G2 recognition.
Seven of those badges came in the Transportation Management Systems category alone: Leader, Momentum Leader, Leader (Enterprise), Leader (Mid-Market), and High Performer (Small Business). No other TMS provider swept that many segments. Intelligent TMS backed it up with Regional Leader status in EMEA and Asia Pacific, Easiest To Do Business With in Mid-Market, and a Users Love Us milestone badge.

High Satisfaction across Enterprise and Mid-market
On the Enterprise Grid, iTMS achieved a G2 Score of 74 and a Satisfaction sub score of 81 out of 100. Just four of the 11 vendors scored were placed in the Leader quadrant. On the Mid-Market Grid, iTMS earned a G2 Score of 82 and a Satisfaction score of 90.

Winning both segments is harder than it sounds, because enterprise and midmarket buyers have distinct needs. A platform must flex to fit both, and few do. Out of the 20 vendors scored across those two segments, project44 appeared in the leader category repeatedly.
Where competitors fall short
Intelligent TMS fared well against MyCarrierTMS, PortPro, ShipperGuide TMS, Banyan Technology, Turvo, and more. These TMSs often specialize in a particular mode or use case, such as drayage, less-than-truckload quoting, or over-the-road execution.
These tools are functional until a shipper wants to expand. Suddenly, a system purchased for its strong European truckload network (for example) becomes a liability.
Intelligent TMS is built to flex with a shipper instead. It handles planning and execution across full truckload, less-than-truckload, ocean, air, parcel, intermodal rail, and drayage. Intelligent TMS connects shippers to 282,000 carriers across all supported modes with no custom EDI required. When sourcing strategies change due to supply chain volatility or internal priorities, iTMS customers can ensure goods arrive on time via carrier options outside of their network.
The fastest-growing product at project44
Reviews are one read on whether a product meets the needs of the market. Revenue is another. Intelligent TMS grew shipper revenue 57% year over year in FY27 Q2. This makes it the fastest-growing product line at project44, with more than 160 customers deployed and more than $35 million in annual recurring revenue.

Frequently asked questions
What is G2’s Grid Report and how is it compiled?
G2 plots every vendor in a category on two axes: Satisfaction (from verified user reviews) and Market Presence (review volume, company size, external signals). Leader status requires a high score on both axes.
Is project44’s Intelligent TMS new to G2’s Grid?
Yes. Fall 2026 is the first time Intelligent TMS appeared on any G2 TMS Grid, and it earned Leader status on the Enterprise, Mid-Market, and Overall Grids, three Regional Grids, and Momentum Leader status on the Momentum Grid in that first appearance.
What other transportation management systems appear on G2’s Fall 2026 TMS Grid?
The Overall Grid includes more than two dozen vendors, from large incumbents like SAP Transportation Management and Oracle Transportation Management Cloud to point solutions built for a single mode or region, including PortPro (drayage), Freightview (less-than-truckload and parcel), MyCarrierTMS (LTL), and Turvo (broker-focused workflows). Intelligent TMS is one of a small number of Leader-quadrant vendors offering ocean, air, parcel, full truckload, and less-than-truckload coverage on one platform, backed by a network of 282,000 carriers.
