MSC launches Sentosa service linking Southeast Asia to Pacific Southwest

With an aim to fulfill customer demand for cargo between southeast Asia and the U.S. west coast and for improving reliability in the transpacific network, MSC has announced the launch of an all-new container shipping service – Sentosa.

The new service, expected to start in early April, will link Southeast Asia with the Pacific South West market and facilitate trade between countries such as Thailand and Vietnam and the U.S. Westcoast.

The Sentosa service is aimed at the distribution of cargo flow across the various existing services and port terminals on either side of the Pacific, thereby leading to enhanced schedule reliability within the region.
