We recently held our first international velo[city] event in Hamburg, Germany, and the energy in the room was electric! Forward-thinking leaders from some of the world’s largest automotive, manufacturing, retail, and LSPs joined us to explore how we can continue pushing the boundaries of supply chain visibility—and we’re just getting started.
The day wasn’t just about discussing the challenges of the modern supply chain; it was about discovering new opportunities to build High-Velocity Supply Chains that are resilient, agile, and ready for tomorrow’s challenges. From cutting-edge product advancements to real-world success stories, the conversations showed how far we’ve come—and how much further we’re prepared to go.
Here are some key takeaways from the event:
Disruption management and real-time decision making
Customers like Alberto Curlante from CNHi, Nigel Wilkinson from BAT, and Alberto Martian from DCS Group emphasized how project44 has transformed their supply chain operations by improving disruption management, ETA accuracy, and carrier communication. For CNHi, project44’s real-time visibility has enhanced team efficiency and reduced costs, with all commercial members accessing the same data via a single platform. BAT successfully navigated the Suez Canal blockage using project44’s insights to avoid major disruptions and even increase revenue. Similarly, DCS Group credits project44 with providing a competitive edge by enabling faster decision-making, better communication, and continued success in their digitalization journey.
Industry differentiation and innovation
For Laura Salvatori from Faravelli, a chemical distributor, project44’s platform has become a critical differentiator. By providing accurate ETAs and improving customer collaboration, Faravelli has been able to set itself apart in a highly competitive industry. As Laura put it, “Since we aren’t a manufacturer, we must differentiate somehow, and p44 plays a huge role.”
Iveco’s Gianluca Pajrone underscored the value of cutting out manual efforts. He made it clear that to win in today’s market, you need to start where it counts—high-value areas—and surround yourself with the right team.
During the Partner Innovation Sessions, we were able to highlight how joint innovations with project44 are driving real-time insights and streamlining operations. One partner noted, “It’s not just about moving inventory, but getting it to the right place while understanding how to meet customer demand.”
The day ended with strong words from Tom Perrone, our head of Professional Services who emphasized our long-term commitment to our customers. As he put it, “We don’t want to be just another vendor for your business—we want to be your partner in this journey.”
