What’s new in Movement: Recent enhancements to our High-Velocity Platform 

We’re constantly working to increase the value our customers get from Movement, and we’re excited to share what we’ve been up to! This quarter we’ve focused on supercharging the Movement UX to bring you features that make your work smoother, faster, and more effective. From smarter notifications to better document management, these updates are all about improving collaboration and making your supply chain more efficient. Let’s dive into some of the highlights. 

Collaboration 

Several of our latest enhancements were developed to increase collaboration across supply chain parties—including those within your organization and those outside of it. 

  • Movement China: Our platform now enables users in China to create, view, and manage their shipments, access their supply chain analytics data, explore their data quality performance, check root causes for issues, and access critical insights in a fully-compliant way. This localized solution supports the unique needs of the Chinese market and enhances our global reach. 
  • Access Groups: Control who interacts with your data through robust configurations to ensure accuracy and security. This feature provides peace of mind and enhanced data governance, making it easier to manage who sees and acts on critical information. 
  • External Notifications: Configure and send shipment exception notifications to any email address, including carriers, customers, or internal stakeholders. This makes it easier than ever to collaborate and keep supply chain partners informed, ensuring timely responses and proactive management. 
  • Document Management: Upload and store shipment-related documents like Bills of Lading (BOLs) and Proof of Delivery (PODs) directly in Movement. Enhance collaboration with carriers and suppliers, ensuring all parties have access to the necessary documentation, saving time and eliminating document-related payment delays.  
  • Time Zone Selection: Choose whether you see event times in your time zone, the local time zone for each event, or any other specified time zone. This flexibility makes collaboration across time zones easier, ensuring all stakeholders are on the same page, regardless of location. 

User experience

We’ve also made several changes designed to streamline your experience in Movement, making it easier to find the information you need and make decisions quickly. 

  • Quick Filters: We surfaced the most frequently used filters so you can find the information you need in a few clicks. This enhancement speeds up workflows and improves efficiency, allowing users to focus on what truly matters. 
  • Suggested Views: p44 suggested views are now available from the shipment list page, in addition to the homepage, making it easier dive into analysis. 
  • Carrier Data Quality Comparison: This new module on the Network Health dashboard enables you to compare the relative performance of carriers in your network at a glance. This allows for better evaluation of performance and smarter network decisions, driving more efficient and reliable operations.
