CNC will be launching a new China-Malaysia Service 2 (CMS2) with an aim to provide comprehensive coverage of Malaysian main ports such as Port Klang, Penang and Pasir Gudang. It will be added to CNC’s portfolio of Indonesia-Straits services. With this service, CNC aims to provide shippers with a new alternative shipping service choice of moving cargos between Shanghai, South China, the niche ports of Penang and Pasir Gudang in Malaysia and Singapore.
Making weekly port calls at the trans-shipment hubs of Shekou, Singapore, Port Klang and Hong Kong, shipments onboard CMS2 will be able to gain regional and global market access through the extensive network of CNC and the CMA CGM Group respectively.
The service will commence its maiden voyage from Shanghai on 18 September.
CMS2 Port rotation: Shanghai – Xiamen – Shekou – Nansha – Singapore – Port Klang – Penang – Pasir Gudang – Singapore – Hong Kong – Shanghai.
